Soundcraft has recently completed the manufacture and installation of over twenty hardwood communal security portcullis doors and screens at the Meakin and Elim Estates, London, SE1.
In addition to the doors and screens, Soundcraft also installed ramps and handrails complying with Part M.
Each door was fitted with two Securitron 32 electromagnets, a surface mounted LCN 4111 closer, and a stainless steel continuous hinge, ‘T’ bar, bolt through pull handle, push and kick plates.
The hardwood species, Sapele, was finished in a microporous water based coating from Sikkens.
Soundcraft hardwood portcullis doors and screens have been providing security for providers of communal housing in London and the South East for over thirty years.
