An order worth £100,000 for the manufacture and installation of 50 SPW300 thermally broken aluminium windows has been place with Soundcraft by contractor, ARJ Construction.
This is the second recent order placed by ARJ; the previous one being for curtain walling.
The new order is for a residential project in Wokingham. An interesting aspect is the requirement for sound attenuating windows on two elevations to reduce noise from nearby busy main roads. The centre pane acoustic value of these windows is 40dB.
The windows are scheduled for manufacture and installation in the early summer.
