Delivered by Safe Haven at Soundcraft’s offices in Kent, the course provides potentially life-saving skills and is fully compliant with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This nationally recognised training equips our team with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.
“Congratulations to all those who achieved their Nationwide Accredited First Aid Qualification,” said Soundcraft Project Coordinator Jodie-Mae Gaywood. “Having essential skills and practical knowledge to manage first aid situations in the event of an incident or illness at work
can significantly increase the likelihood of a positive outcome.”
Soundcraft’s commitment to workplace wellbeing extends beyond training. In 2022, the company installed a state-of-the-art defibrillator, now registered with The Circuit – the UK’s national defibrillator network. This system provides NHS ambulance services and the public with critical information about defibrillator locations, enabling rapid access in the event of a cardiac arrest. As the only defibrillator within a three-mile radius of the Soundcraft company base, this vital piece of emergency equipment supports not only employees but also the wider community for those in need from surrounding areas.
