In a bid to help those dealing with homelessness and food poverty, Soundcraft has donated to charities working tirelessly throughout the festive season to provide food and shelter in the community.

At this time of year, Soundcraft would traditionally deliver Christmas client gifts and hampers, however, with so many people in such great need this winter, company directors have instead chosen to support two crucial charities. Soundcraft’s donation of £1,500 will be shared equally between Bromley Homeless and Bromley Borough Foodbank to support their lifeline services for local people.

On a mission to provide support and positive intervention for anyone facing homelessness in the London Borough of Bromley, the trained team at Bromley Homeless provides essential help and practical advice services. “We are incredibly grateful to Soundcraft for their generous donation, as are the people who rely on us for support,” said Mark Johnson, Trustee and Chair of the Fundraising Committee for Bromley Homeless. “We’re a small charity trying to make a big difference, so it’s absolutely amazing when companies think of us and donate money that they’d ordinarily spend on client gifts at Christmas.”

Providing emergency food to people in crisis, Bromley Borough Foodbank is run by local people for local people. It is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Amanda Stone, Chief Operating Officer at Bromley Borough Foodbank said: “We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry this Christmas. That’s why we provide nutritionally balanced emergency food to support local people who are referred to us. The donation from Soundcraft will help feed many vulnerable people across our community and will allow us to continue serving those that need us – thank you for your kindness and generosity”.

Wishing a peaceful Christmas and joyful New Year to all our valued customers, suppliers and partners.

Soundcraft offices will close for the festive break at 1pm on Friday 22nd December and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 2nd January.
