With so many facing poverty and homelessness, Soundcraft will once again swap Christmas hampers for financial donations to essential charities helping people in crisis this year.
In a bid to help where it can matter most, Soundcraft has donated £2000 across three crucial charities to support Bromley Borough Foodbank, Sustenance and Bromley Homeless – all working tirelessly throughout the festive season to provide food and shelter in local communities.
Bromley Borough Foodbank is an emergency food lifeline, working with The Trussell Trust to help combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Treasurer Simon Lees said: “Thank you so much to Soundcraft for this extremely kind donation to Bromley Borough Foodbank. It is so encouraging when local companies get involved with us in our work to help those in food poverty as it demonstrates the wide recognition that we all need to work together to address the unacceptable fact of poverty in Bromley Borough.” If you would like to support Bromley Borough Foodbank, please click here!
Sustenance provides nutritious food for people experiencing food poverty by repurposing surplus produce. Committed to addressing food inequalities, the organisation said: “At Sustenance we are working very hard to make sure no one in our community is going without this Christmas. Many are dreading the festive season and there is no more brutal symptom of poverty than ‘food poverty.’ It feels particularly cruel at this time of year, as most festive tables struggle under the weight, while others in our own community are going hungry.” If you would like to support Sustenance, please click here!
Bromley Homeless helps homeless people in Bromley with emergency accommodation and provides a vital Advice Service for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. “We are all incredibly grateful to Soundcraft for their generous donation, as are the people who rely on us for support,” said Mark Johnson, Trustee for Bromley Homeless. “We’re a small charity trying to make a big difference, so it’s absolutely amazing when local companies think of us and donate money at Christmas.” If you would like to support Bromley Homeless please click here!
Wishing a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to our valued customers, suppliers and partners!
Soundcraft offices will close at 5pm on Monday 23rd of December and will reopen at 8am on Thursday 2nd of January.
