Setting the standards in architectural design and implementation the RIBA 2013 Awards showcase some of the best buildings of the year. ‘Crowbrook’, a private house designed by Knox Bhavan Architects, won a RIBA National Award: one of 2 awards presented to the ‘East’ region, and one of only 3 private houses out of the other 43 winning buildings.
The windows, which were designed to optimise the use of light throughout the single story building, were manufactured and installed by Soundcraft. They included PEFC larch and incorporated Scandinavian window design features.
