As part of Soundcraft’s continuing investment in the development our in-house services, several members of our team have successfully undertaken two new training courses in the design and installation of windows, doors and curtain walling.

Helping to strengthen our internal design resource, our director of production Lee Gordon and commercial manager Michael Bishop have completed the AutoCAD LT Essentials training course. This will enable us to offer a more flexible design service to our clients, providing us with the skills to produce our own 3D extrusion drawings for specific items such as fixing brackets.

Further training and development across our in-house technical team has seen the completion of the illbruck Assured Certified training scheme. This provides valuable guidance for contractors in the application of illbruck membranes and impregnated foam tapes, which are vital components in the installation of windows, doors and curtain wall systems, and which play an important role in maximising the performance of our products. The course covered the technical, theoretical and practical aspects of selecting the correct membrane for each individual project specification.

Soundcraft’s production director Lee Gordon said: “We are committed to ensuring that we have the expertise and resources to offer our clients the best possible service and training is a key part of this.  The team have worked really hard and it’s a great achievement for all involved.”
